Power, Voltage, and Size—Straight to the Point
These heaters are spec’d for the kind of plant loads you actually run into. Common ratings go up to 2500W, and they run at 400V. That voltage choice helps keep current draw in check on standard industrial circuits. It also means you can use smaller conductors and worry less about voltage drop when you string multiple units together. And the tube length? Around 300mm. Enough radiant surface to heat a defined zone cleanly, without forcing you to rework the whole machine footprint.
Materials and Design: Built to Stay Clean and Stay Bright
Inside, we use a quartz envelope with a halogen cycle to keep the filament stable at high temperatures. The halogen regenerates the tungsten, so the tube stays cleaner and holds its output longer than a basic infrared element. The quartz coating is chosen to manage the output spectrum and help protect the tube from contaminants in the airstream. For installation, we use an R7s connector—secure, quick-fit, and tough enough to handle vibration. When it’s time to swap one out on the floor, it’s a straight drop-in replacement.
Where It Shines: Control, Reliability, and Heat Density
This setup is made for applications like PET blowing, where predictable heating keeps cycle times steady. The app control gives you setpoint accuracy and a clear audit trail, while the halogen heater packs a lot of heat into a compact tube. Now, the trade-off: that high power density means you need adequate machine cooling and proper clearances. Plan your airflow and mounting spacing before you wire it up.
