
We built the IPX4 splash-proof infrared heater for one simple reason: to turn freezing, damp spots into comfortable spaces in seconds. This isn’t about gently warming the air. It’s direct, line-of-sight heat that warms people and surfaces first. You feel it where you stand, not somewhere out in the ether.
Power that hits hard, fast
Inside, the heater runs on 220–240V, so the current ramps up quickly and the element glows almost the moment you flip the switch. The quartz tube packs serious wattage into a small footprint, so you get a lot of heat without tripping the circuit. It’s fast. Really fast. That’s exactly what you want in change rooms, washdown bays, and sheltered outdoor entries—heat where you need it, exactly when you need it.
Materials that take the rough stuff
Inside the tube, a halogen fill protects the filament. It keeps output steady and helps the lamp last longer than basic open-coil designs. The quartz envelope handles sudden temperature swings and doesn’t weaken from constant on/off cycling. We use an R7s connector, too. It gives a solid connection, carries high current safely, and makes the lamp a straightforward drop-in replacement for existing fixtures. And the IPX4 rating? That means the housing shrugs off splashing water from any direction. It matters—especially in humid areas where condensation and cleaning sprays are just part of the day.
How it feels in real life
Set it up, aim it, and you get focused warmth right where you point it. You’re not heating the whole volume of air, so you waste less energy and take some load off dehumidifiers. A couple of things to keep in mind: infrared heats surfaces and people in the beam, not the air behind them, so plan your coverage and line-of-sight. And because the power density is high, make sure enclosed spaces have enough ventilation and proper thermal management. For engineers, the appeal is straightforward: it’s tough, quick to install, and predictable. A heater that can take a beating, keep running, and keep operators warm. We designed it to be hard-nosed, long-running, and unfazed by mess. Because turning a freezing locker into a space that actually feels finished shouldn’t mean waiting around for the whole room to warm up.
